This handmade 8-inch Western utility knife is forged from reclaimed farrier rasp file steel and finished with a rich Rosewood handle. The original rasp texture gives the blade authentic ranch character while the balanced size suits practical everyday cutting tasks.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Farrier rasp steel is valued for its high-carbon composition, durability, and ability to maintain a dependable working edge. Dense Rosewood provides a smooth, naturally oil-resistant grip and develops a deeper patina with age.

Designed for Practical Use
Designed as a handcrafted utility tool, this piece is suitable for responsible adult use in routine ranch, trail, camp, workshop, and general outdoor cutting tasks. The included sheath helps protect the edge during storage and transport. Always follow applicable local laws and handle with appropriate care.
Because natural materials, reclaimed steel, resin casting, and hand-finishing vary from piece to piece, minor differences in grain, pattern, texture, and tone are part of the product’s individual character.
