The Calamity Jane is a handmade Western ranch knife built from reclaimed farrier rasp steel and finished with a classic natural bone handle. The combination honors traditional ranch craftsmanship while remaining practical for routine outdoor and everyday cutting tasks.
Materials & Craftsmanship
The reclaimed steel preserves the rasp’s original surface texture, making every piece distinct. Natural bone provides a durable, comfortable grip and gradually develops its own patina and character.
Steel: reclaimed farrier rasp steel
Overall length: 8 inches
Handle: genuine natural bone
Included: hand-stitched genuine leather sheath
Construction: Custom handmade
Designed for Practical Use
Designed as a handcrafted ranch and workshop tool, this piece is suitable for responsible adult use in routine ranch, trail, camp, workshop, and general outdoor cutting tasks. The included sheath helps protect the edge during storage and transport. Always follow applicable local laws and handle with appropriate care.
Because natural materials, reclaimed steel, resin casting, and hand-finishing vary from piece to piece, minor differences in grain, pattern, texture, and tone are part of the product’s individual character.
